Rob Williams, our co-founder and colleague, died in tragic circumstances at 10pm on 2nd March whilst on a snowboarding trip in Verbier, Switzerland.
All of those who have worked with Rob knew him to be a gentle man of exceptional dignity. Rob had a real zest for life and accomplished so much in his short time in this world. He was a major driving force at Dolphin Music and continues to be an inspiration to all of us.
Both as a colleague and a leader, to most people Rob was also a friend. His un-flappable capability, business acumen and technical/creative vision have all been pivotal in making Dolphin Music a leading force in music retail, and also a great place to work.
Our mission and our duty now are to continue striving towards Rob’s vision for Dolphin Music. We are proud to have worked with him, and learned so much from him. This means that he will always be part of the team and remain instrumental in our future success.
Company Director Jason Tavaria, who co-founded Dolphin with Rob, has this to add: “He was my lifelong best friend, who will never be replaced.”
